My 4 year old is having a blast with this game. She plays it a lot, or at least as much as I allow her to play it. It was easy for her to learn and it is a great entertainer for her, especially on our long car trips. And I definitely cannot complain about the learning components of the game.
LOVE THE PARENT INTERACTION WHILE MY CHILD IS PLAYING THE GAME. SO MUCH SO. I CAN WATCH ON THE TV AND HELP WHEN HE NEEDS IT.GREAT PRESCHOOL GAME. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. ALSO MY ENTIRE CHIDLS PRESCHOOL CLASS NOW OWNS A LEAPSTER LMAX. BE SURE TO GET THE LMAX AS THEN YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING ON THE TV
I have not personally played this one yet b/c she figured it out on her own before I could even read the manual. It sounds just like the videos and she even giggles along with it.
daughter is not really into Dora anymore, but I hoped my almost 3 y.o. would grow into it.
I really debated about this one b/c my 5 y.o. It holds her interest far longer than any of the other games.
Well, I've been pleasantly surprised. Out of the 3 games I purchased-Princess, Kindergarten, & Dora Wildlife Rescue this is her favorite.
It has several levels so she can go up as she masters one level. Love the Leapster.
My daughter loves this. We brought it along to an appointment where knew we would be waiting awhile and I showed her how to play some of the games and by the end of the visit - she loved it and always wants to play dora now. She is almost 4 and had gotten it for Christmas. She was not into video games before. She's learning letters, numbers and shapes while she is playing. Each game has 3 levels of play.
The fun and educational value are mind-blowing. I was initially uncertain that this would be suitable as my daughter was not quite there at the time of purchase. I also bought the Princess cartridge but have found that although she LOVES the Disney Princesses, the games are too advanced for her. I couldn't have been more wrong. She loved it and got so much out of it. From my own point of view, I also found the Princess games rather dull. By contrast, this Dora one is brilliant on so many levels.
